The impoverished Soweto suburb of Tshiawelo in Gauteng is where Principal Jane Mbungela runs Home Pride pre-school: “We so badly need books because we don't have the money to buy them. Many parents cannot afford the monthly fees and that puts a great burden on us and what we have to teach the children with.”
